Compounded bioidentical hormone replenishment therapy
Compounded Bioidentical Hormone Replenishment Therapy, or cBHRT, uses hormones that are biochemically identical to hormones naturally produced by the body.
When clinically appropriate, treatment may be prescribed by a Physician or Nurse Practitioner based on your health history, clinical evaluation, laboratory information, and individual needs.
Why our approach is different
Many hormone programs focus on symptoms alone. At docther®, we believe your health history, lifestyle, wellness goals, laboratory information, and individual needs should all play a role in determining the appropriate path forward.
Your care experience includes a comprehensive health and hormone assessment, ongoing consultations with a Physician or Nurse Practitioner, state-of-the-art laboratory hormone testing methods, and, when prescribed, compounded topical cBHRT in a Certified Organic oil base.

Your individual hormone care profile
Every woman’s clinical profile is different. That is why docther® centers care around individualized evaluation, laboratory information, and recommendations from a Physician or Nurse Practitioner rather than standardized formulas.
Following clinical evaluation, your Physician or Nurse Practitioner develops an individualized treatment plan that may include compounded bioidentical estrogens, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, and thyroid hormones based on your clinical profile and individual needs.
Your Physician or Nurse Practitioner determines the appropriate hormones, formulation, dosing, and application instructions for your individual care plan.

What is cBHRT? +
cBHRT stands for Compounded Bioidentical Hormone Replenishment Therapy. It uses compounded hormones that are biochemically identical to hormones naturally produced by the body.
Who may be considered for cBHRT? +
cBHRT may be considered for adults based on their health history, laboratory information, clinical profile, current concerns, and treatment goals. Your Physician or Nurse Practitioner determines the appropriate treatment path after evaluation.
Why is the health assessment detailed? +
Hormone care is more than a single symptom or laboratory value. The assessment gives your Physician or Nurse Practitioner context around your health history, lifestyle, current concerns, wellness priorities, and treatment goals.
Will I meet with a Physician or Nurse Practitioner? +
Yes. Your care includes telemedicine consultations with a Physician or Nurse Practitioner who reviews your information, discusses your health history and goals, and guides your individualized treatment plan.
What happens after I complete my assessment? +
Your information and laboratory data are reviewed, followed by your telemedicine consultation with a Physician or Nurse Practitioner. If treatment is appropriate, your Physician or Nurse Practitioner develops individualized recommendations and transmits your prescriptions.
How much does the program cost? +
The women’s program is $299 per month and includes all necessary consultations and, when prescribed as part of the individualized treatment plan, the four ovarian hormones included within the program in the quantities determined appropriate by the Physician or Nurse Practitioner.
The men’s program is $249 per month and includes all necessary consultations and prescribed testosterone when clinically appropriate, subject to state availability requirements.
How will I access my digital care experience? +
You’ll receive access instructions for the secure digital tools used for your assessment, health information, on-demand and unscheduled communications as needs arise, educational resources, and ongoing care.
Is testosterone available in every state? +
Testosterone is a hormone produced naturally in both women and men and may be considered as part of an individualized hormone care plan when clinically appropriate. Unlike estrogen and progesterone, testosterone is a controlled substance, and its prescribing and availability are subject to federal and individual state requirements.
Testosterone is not currently available through the program to patients in AL, AR, CT, DE, DC, HI, ID, IL, IN, LA, MD, MI, MO, NV, NM, NC, OK, RI, SC, SD, VA, WA, or WY.
Other available hormone replenishment and thyroid services may remain available in those states when clinically appropriate. Treatment eligibility and hormone selection are determined by your Physician or Nurse Practitioner.
